The Micro-Trek introduces you to high adventure and consists of five days of highlighted activities including whitewater, hiking, board sailing, caving, climbing and mountain biking. In the evening, programs include swimming, waterskiing, COPE, kayaking and fishing. You bring your personal gear and sleeping bag and a willingness to experience new adventure Heritage provides program and camping equipment.

Treks--Two different treks are offered this year. You can decide to backpack the Laurel Highlands Trail or Mountain Bike the Great Allegheny Passage Trail. All program and camping equipment with except personal gear is provided by Heritage Reservation.

Every eligible Scout should receive a brochure in the mail describing the High Adventure program.

This is the second season for the treks. The cost for the Sunday-Saturday, Trek and teh Micro Trek for GPC Scouts and Adults is $280.
