GATHERING OF CATHOLIC MEN - April 10th Crossing
the Goal - A.J. Palumbo Center at Duquesne University. Whether you are a grandfather, father, single man or son, whatever
your level of faith or whatever your level of spiritual fitness, come and see how your life can be changed. A Day Together
- You and your fellow men will enjoy the entire day together. Doors open at 8:30AM and the closing Mass begins at 4
PM. Boxed Lunch is included.

Cents for Soldiers - The Faith Formation Office has chosen to work
in collaboration with Operation Troop Appreciation for their 2010 Parish Project. The "Cents for Soldiers"
project will allow the children and their families with the support if our parish to sponsor 200 members of the Pennsylvania
Army National Guard (Fayette County and the Hunt Armory in Pittsburgh's Shadyside) that are deployed in Afghanistan.
The goal is to collect 500 items on the list and to raise $250. Please see the schedule for monitary collections after

Family Bingo - Save

Ressi Bus Trip to Wheeling - Wednesday,
March 10th. Bus leaves at 10:00 AM at the Cannon. Please be there by 9:30 AM. We will arrive home between

WANTED--- This Lent, make a difference! Volunteers are always needed to help with Fish Fries—to
bake desserts, help set up, and especially, help clean-up afterwards.
Pick an Area where you can
offer your services: Monday Night Bingo, Religious Ed (CCD), Stewardship, Greeters, Schedule Lectors, Schedule Alter
Servers.
Fun Flair Help Needed: Overall Food Coordinator, "Work" the booths, Set
up, Tear down, Courtyard Tables.

BAPTISM
NOTES & CLASSES Every child is a gift from God. While we rejoice in the new life
that continues to be formed, we wish the very best for your child. To this end, it is expected that you
choose sponsors who are baptized, confirmed and practicing Catholics. In addition, we offer classes which
you as parent(s) are required to attend so that your child may be baptized in Christ. The next series of
classes is as follows; please call to register.
A Basic Certification Course “Creed: The Profession of Faith” will be hosted by
Our Lady of Loreto this Spring on Feb. 27, March 6 and March 20 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Deacon Dale DiSanto and Sharon Hachman,
Master Catechists will conduct the classes. Call 412-341-6163 for a return call.
COOK AT HOME FOR THE HOMELESS -
We’re looking for cooks who could make macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes or a green bean casserole for our dinner
for the women’s shelter on Ash Wednesday—February 17. Just cook at home and we will pick it up! Call Bernice

Don't miss the fifth annual Diocesan-wide
Gathering of Catholic Men on Saturday, April 10th, 2010 at the AJ Palumbo Center beginning at 9 AM. It is a day filled with
excellent speakers, prayer, fellowship, worship and inspiration. For more information please contact Rich Longo at 412-951-6384
or ralongo@aol.com. You may also contact the Catholic Men's Fellowship of Pittsburgh directly at www.cmfpitt.org. Registration in advance is $35 but Resurrection will cover $20 of the registration fee so you would only have to pay $15.
