Diocesan Abuse Prevention Effort

Resurrection parish, under the direction of the Diocese of Pittsburgh asks adults of the Church who interact
with children to become aware of how to protect them. The PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN sessions for adults
instructs on awareness and vigilance of child abuse. These awareness sessions will help adults understand the signs of child
sexual abuse, the methods and means by which the offender commits abuse and five empowerment steps one can do to prevent child
sexual abuse.
