Wishing each of you a most blessed Sabbath, and welcome to our newest members!
I hope that all of you had a mostly relaxing day,, especially with Thanksgiving being this Thursday! It is hard to believe that we are nearing the close of November already, and getting ready to head into the season of Advent! We are truly blessed.
Today I was fortunate enough to go to Church of the Resurrection. I was able to get some pictures of this beautiful church – I can’t wait for you to see it,, you will love it! I was able to also hear Father Rob’s wonderful sermon, and hear the amazing music that Ron Schulz their music director directed their very gifted chorus in. Each of the pieces that they played were perfectly placed throughout the Mass, with their crowning achievement being their piece after Holy Communion,, I felt that I was transported to a European Cathedral,, truly elegant, a real masterpiece. You will fall in love with it too.
From it’s grand trusses, intricately decorated richly decorated to remind us of the Seven Sacraments, to rich and festive stained glass windows lovingly depicting some of our church’s favorite saints, to brilliant murals, this church will soon be one of your favorites. It is designed in the same style as St. Therese of Lisieux, yet it is still unique, one that you will remember for many years.
Join us on December 27 for this glorious celebration of history, family and Faith! Be sure to invite family and friends to attend another exciting Pittsburgh Mass Mob!
If you haven’t seen the wonderful video that Ron Schulz created, be sure to check it out,, here is the link:
